COVID-19 Preventative Measures

The Seabrook Island Club team is committed to providing our members, guests, and employees with experiences that are both high quality and safe, adhering to the various regulations and recommendations set forth by government officials. In order to do this, we need the kind cooperation and support of everyone by adhering to social distancing and sanitation guidelines. As the season progresses, some policies and practices may change. We ask for your patience during this challenging time as we all learn to live, work, and play in new ways.

 

*UPDATE – Mask Requirement Announcement – Effective 8/3/21:

Members, Employees, and All Visitors of Seabrook Island Club:

The health and safety of our members, guests, and employees is our first responsibility. Unfortunately, Covid-19 cases in South Carolina and in the Lowcountry especially are increasing significantly and are considered to be in the “High” category by DHEC.
In response to this news, the Board has decided to institute a universal mask requirement for anyone regardless of vaccination status entering an indoor portion of any Club property, including the Island House, Locker Rooms, Golf and Racquet Sports Pro Shops, Osprey Café, Seabrook Shoppe, Equestrian Office, Amenity Office, and the Real Estate Office.
This requirement applies to all Club members, guests, staff, and vendors beginning Tuesday, August 3, 2021. For those who may not have a mask with them, masks will be available from staff or from a supply that will be placed inside the building entry.
We will be monitoring the Covid-19 case metrics closely and communicating the status of the mask requirement at least weekly. However, we don’t anticipate the requirement will be lifted until such time as new cases are reduced, vaccination rates increase and the overall risk to our members, their guests, and our staff is mitigated.

All rides (trail rides, beach rides and pony rides) are available on a limited basis. *All Reservations MUST be made over the phone. All rides are scheduled around tides.  Boarding operation continues with the extra precautions that have been implemented.

Seabrook Island is Charleston's only Truly Private Ocean Front Community. Membership in the Seabrook Island Club is required for ownership. Amenity use is for Members and their Guests Only.
The Lakehouse is for use by Property Owners and their Guests as well.
