Newcomers’ Get-Together on Seabrook
On Seabrook Island, we love seeing new faces and getting to meet the residents who make our coastal community such a great place to be! Despite being a close knit community, our busy lives sometimes inhibit us from getting to know one another and learn about upcoming community opportunities. That changes on Friday, February 15th from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, as we invite all new Seabrook Island residents to our Newcomers’ Party in the Carolina Room!
This event is the first newcomers’ get-together of 2019 and is organized by the Newcomers Hospitality Committee of the Seabrook Island Property Owners Association (SIPOA) and Seabrook Island Club (SIC). It will be part of Seabrook’s annual meeting weekend, in which the results of our SIPOA and SIC community elections will be announced (make sure to vote before 8 am on Saturday, February 16th).
We want to make all of our new Seabrook Island members feel as welcome as possible, and this event is a great way to put names to the faces you’ve seen walking about the community. Come ready to make a new acquaintance and give our new members a taste of the friendly Seabrook Island community we are all so fond of.
Expect to get more information about the various social activities we offer on Seabrook, as well as the numerous volunteer opportunities in and around the community. Plan to mark your calendars for wine and charcuterie nights, trivia extravaganzas, and our social happy hours within the next month so that you don’t miss out on the fun.
There will be several key Seabrook Island leaders in attendance, which means in addition to meeting other new residents, you will have the chance to meet the people working hard to serve our community.
We hope you’ll join us on Friday evening in the Carolina Room. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
