Oceanside Yoga for Adaptive Expeditions

Breathe in, breathe out, Namaste. On Saturday, May 4th at 9AM, join your fellow Seabrook Island neighbors for a relaxing oceanside yoga class to benefit Adaptive Expeditions! This yoga session will be led by instructor Natasha Stevens on the Ocean Terrace at The Beach Club. If the weather is unsuitable for our class, we’ll be moving the party into the Atlantic Room. After the yoga class, attendees are welcome to stay a while for complimentary mimosas and bloody Marys.

The cost of attendance will be $20 and all proceeds will be going towards Adaptive Expeditions, a Charleston 501(c)(3) organization founded by Joe Moore in 2001. Moore’s mission for this organization is to provide fun outdoor activities for the disabled and build a community where the Paralympic and other adventure seekers feel at home.

Aside from getting to practice yoga in a beautiful environment, your participation in this event will also benefit a fantastic organization making a positive impact on the lives of many people with physical disabilities.

This class is open to people of all levels. So whether you’ve got mayurasana down pat or downward dog makes you wobble, you’re welcome at the Seabrook Island event! The only thing we ask that attendees bring with them is a mat, although you might also want to bring along a towel, sunglasses and a jacket in case it gets windy or cool on the beach.

If you are interested in joining us on May 4th, please make a reservation with Michelle Duplessis at 843-768-7849. Everyone is welcome to join (bring your friends), but you must have a reservation. Member charge, cash, or checks will be accepted. We hope to see you there!
