Walking just 30 minutes a day can burn up to 3,000 calories every week. It’s also a great way to get your heart rate up while boosting your metabolism. Where better to take a scenic walk than some of the best beaches in South Carolina? You can even try including a light jog or running to your workout routine. Seabrook Island is home to Pelican Beach, renowned for its radiant sunsets. It’s also the perfect place for small children and families to get outside.
The exquisite North Beach is another Seabrook Island gem, perfect for those who love to get active and spend time in nature. A luxurious natural sanctuary, North Beach features an array of treasured wildlife from dolphins to sea turtles, making it the most serene place to get physical activity! There’s even an off-leash area for you to bring your furry best friend to join in on the fun! Pets are allowed off-leash between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m during the summer.

We are committed to providing you with memorable, safe experiences in our community, so the pool area is currently open by reservation only.

Taking a bike ride is ideal for improving your heart health, joint mobility, strength, and flexibility while simultaneously de-stressing your mind! Biking is highly recommended on Seabrook, with rentals available in the nearby Freshfields Village. Our easily accessible bike routes provide a fun way to see all the scenery Seabrook has to offer, from the crabbing dock and boat ramp to the lush Seabrook golf courses to the horses grazing at the pastures of the Seabrook Island Equestrian Center. Cyclists can also enjoy the peaceful solitude of a breezy ride along the 300 acres of Camp St. Christopher’s untouched forest until arriving at the border of the Edisto River.
