Seabrook Island Camps

Camp Seabrook for kids

Camps on Seabrook Island are one of the many ways to make your visit more exciting for the little ones. Whether it’s planned vacation time or summer break, we have a kids camp to suit your needs.

Camp St. Christopher

Camps on Seabrook Island are a great way for kids to enjoy their vacation or summer break.  Camp St. Christopher, celebrating 75 years of education and entertaining children, is one of them.  Children from grades 3-12 come out for a week and enjoy water sports and activities, worship at the cathedral, and hands on learning.

Camp Rates & Pricing

Camps range from $378 to $550 for children in 3rd to 12th grades per week.  Parents may attend camp with their young children from Kindergarten to 2nd grade for a total charge of $216.  Registration fills up early, so it is recommended that parents sign up their kids early.

Camp Schedule

The schedule for camps is located here .  Please note that when signing children up, they must attend for the entire week for which they’ve been scheduled.  When choosing the week you want to attend, be mindful of family vacations and other activities, as having children attending only a partial camp can be disrupting to the entire camp.  There is a 2 week grace period after signing up your child to avoid penalties.  After the grace period, any application fees will not be refunded.

In an ongoing effort, St. Christopher uses the campsite year round to offer educational activities to schoolchildren.  Their one mile long beach and extensive acreage holds natural elements of forest, marsh and wildlife that is used to enhance kids’ knowledge of maritime life.  Kids, from 5th to 12th grades, attending local schools or visiting from other areas, are able to participate in this unique experience.

Camp Seabrook

There are many opportunities for kids to have fun on Seabrook Island.  One of the wonderful choices for families to consider is Camp Seabrook, located at the Lake House.  Camp organizers have organized daily and weekly adventures for vacationers and residents alike.

Parents may sign up their children to participate in pony rides, outdoor excursions, pool parties, or kickball.  Other fun activities include arts and crafts, learning to catch crab, and learning the fine art of theater.  Educational workshops for those who want to enjoy a more intellectual experience and learn more about other cultures, volcanic activity, or maybe how solar energy works, are also scheduled.

Camp sessions run from May 26th to August 29th from 9am – 12:30pm for ages 4-11.  Daily rates are $45 per camper.  Weekly attendance is $195 per camper.  The monthly schedules may be found here.
