Valentine’s Day Weekend Events in Downtown Charleston

Charleston Food History Experience

If you and your loved one are self-proclaimed foodies, there’s no better place to be than in the heart of the Holy City. Sign up for a Charleston food history outing that comes with a culinary and history tour led by Charleston’s only certified chef tour guide, a cooking demo, and a handpicked lunch experience.

Cooking Class at Zero George Cooking School

For more personal attention in one of Charleston’s most renowned culinary schools, book a class at Zero George Cooking School. Each class is taught by Zero George’s Executive and Sous Chefs, Vinson Petrillo and Tyler Chavis. To maintain that one-on-one instruction, no more than nine students can take part in each session.

HeART of Charleston Art Walk

If you decided not to do the Freshfields Village art walk on Valentine’s Day (or if you and your Valentine are art buffs), consider doing the HeART of Charleston Art Walk on Saturday. This half-day event will take you on a guided tour of the Gibbes Museum of Art, the Waterfront City Gallery, the College of Charleston’s Halsey Institute, and Peggy Howe’s art studio. Your licensed tour guide will be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the day.

We hope this gave you a few last-minute ideas for Valentine’s Day! If you want to take part in Seabrook’s Valentine’s dinner, be sure to make your reservation soon.
