6 Reasons You Will Want to Move to Seabrook

Surrounded by Unspoiled Natural Beauty

Seabrook Island offers premier beach club amenities without having a tourist-driven economy. Our oceanfront community features a number of villas, cottages, townhomes, and larger homes available for vacation rentals on Seabrook Island, SC. However, there are no hotels. This prevents overcrowding of our private island and keeps our lush coastal ecosystem thriving year-round. Immersed in natural splendor, close to everything yet secluded, our private gated barrier island is home to miles of pristine beaches, serene marshes, and a lush maritime forest. Nearby Airport for Cross-Country Travel

The Greater Charleston area and surrounding Sea Island communities have experienced exponential growth in the past decade. Transportation to and from the Lowcountry is quickly improving, as airlines continue to add non-stop flights to the Charleston airports. JetBlue recently announced that it will begin offering daily non-stop flights between Charleston, South Carolina, and Los Angeles, California. The airline will be the first in the state to offer a non-stop flight to the state of California. JetBlue’s lineup of flight destinations from Charleston International also includes New York (JFK), Newark, and Boston, opening the door for welcoming visitors from all around the country.

Premier Oceanfront Dining

Seabrook Island has some of the most delicious restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining. We are excited for Seabrook Island Club members and guests to experience the new and improved Island House dining venues, which will be re-opening on Thursday, November 19th, 2020. The completely renovated restaurants will feature several new dining experiences – The Palmetto Room, Ashley Room, and Bohicket’s Lounge. Our standards of service have evolved to better meet the needs of our Club members, and the Island House’s recent renovations reflect that. No detail has been overlooked with this extensive renovation, from functionality to aesthetic design.

The Palmetto Room at the Seabrook Island Club

The Palmetto Room has been renovated to take advantage of the beautiful waterscape right outside its windows, now showcasing an unprecedented view of the Atlantic Ocean throughout the venue. Our in-house chefs have also curated a more concise, rotating menu that will include an array of the Lowcountry’s wonderful, seasonal delicacies. You can also enjoy the seascape vista next to the warmth of the fireplace in the refurbished Ashley Room at the Seabrook Island Club.

Bohicket’s Lounge at the Seabrook Island Club

Bohicket’s Lounge, our second remodeled dining space, complements the changes to the Palmetto Room at the Seabrook Island Club. The Lounge will feature an all-day menu consisting of lunch dishes, appetizers, and dinner options, along with our daily chef specials. If you are looking to grab a quick bite and beverage while overlooking our newly renovated golf courses, Bohicket’s Lounge is the place for you. Right across the street is the Pelican’s Nest, a casual, oceanfront restaurant that is open seasonally. It’s the perfect spot for watching dolphins gracefully glide through the water. One thing is for certain: there is always a first-class venue available for your dining enjoyment with a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and Seabrook Island’s magnificent beaches.
