Pat and Tom’s past individual real estate experience at Seabrook Island has made this partnership a natural fit. It’s no wonder their success has come from repeat clients and referrals. Each brings a unique perspective to the buying and selling experience. “Clients who wish to sell or to purchase a Seabrook Island property deserve a pleasant, unstressed experience with a thorough knowledge of the island.” As a team, they take great pride in providing clients with accurate information and full disclosure of all pertinent facts. They have the experience, knowledge, and negotiating skills to serve their clients and get results. Let them show you one of Seabrook’s beautiful homes, villas, or homesites.
Stuart started digging in the sand on the shore before he could even form sentences, and those family times created lasting memories and fostered his life-long dream to live near the beach. Along the journey, he graduated from Westminster College, owned and led a large printing and publishing company, chaired two national non-profits, had a stint as a notable public speaker, and did PR and development consulting for a Big-10 university. But the desire to live on the coast continued to gnaw at him, even after he purchased his first beach property on Seabrook Island in the ’90s. Awestruck by the natural beauty of the Lowcountry, the history and culture of Charleston, and the laid-back vibe of Seabrook, Stuart made the permanent move in 2006 and launched his successful real estate practice. Meeting Stuart and spending time with him on the island makes it clear that he loves this place, and his energy, enthusiasm, and genuine personality make him easy to work with. He has been known to take clients on turtle nest hunts, full-moon celebrations near the dunes, slogging around in the pluff mud, and, of course, to the beach to dig in the sand. He draws upon his three decades of savvy business, negotiation, and listening skills to find the best outcome for his clients – whether buyers or sellers – and has a great time doing so. As a full-time agent, Stuart dedicates himself to being the consummate real estate professional. His clients will attest to his abilities, and it’s no wonder almost all of them end up as friends. He believes in giving back to the community, and you’ll find him volunteering for several local causes when he’s not on the job. If you’re ready to start making memories or want to know more about Seabrook’s wonderful lifestyle and terrific amenities, call Stuart or email him. He’ll be happy to share his perspective about all of the unique aspects of this very special island.
Stuart Rumph and his family have been in Charleston for 16 generations. He grew up exploring Seabrook’s beaches and woods, and as an avid fisherman and boater, Stuart knows every curve of every creek in and around Seabrook. This extra and unique knowledge has been extremely helpful in helping clients fulfill their dreams at Seabrook. His philosophy, work ethic, integrity, and in-depth community and marketing knowledge have always made working with clients easy and provided them with the best representation. Seabrook Island is the only place he sells, and when not working with clients, he can be found playing with his 5 children in the boat. Chip Olsen, a native New Yorker, spent 20 years in the real estate business, managing commercial real estate offices in Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, and Charleston, before visiting Seabrook Island almost 7 years ago. We were looking for a future retirement home, and after several trips to Charleston, we found nothing that felt right. A friend suggested Seabrook Island. After one drive around the Island, I looked at my wife and said, “This is it.” Chip is an avid golfer and tennis player who loves flying fish for redfish around Seabrook Island. Chip is a United States Merchant Marine Academy graduate in Kings Point, NY. Stuart Rumph and Chip Olsen are the top teams on Seabrook Island. She segued into selling real estate, capitalizing on her innate ability to connect with and befriend her clients, acknowledging their needs, finding the perfect home, and introducing them to the Seabrook community.

Seabrook Island’s natural beauty, top-notch amenities, and close-knit community genuinely makes it a place like no other, and I count myself lucky to reside here. Longtime South Carolina visitors, my family and I purchased in 2006 and made Seabrook Island our permanent home in 2009. We’ve been in paradise ever since. A little background on how this came to be: I had been coming to South Carolina since my twenties, with my visits gradually evolving to include my wife and three kids in tow. We frequented Hilton Head, which was great but became too busy and crowded for our liking. My family and I stopped in Charleston on one of our return trips from Hilton Head back home to tropical Cincinnati, Ohio, and we absolutely fell in love with the city. While searching for a nearby beach community where we could purchase a vacation property, we came across Seabrook Island. On our fourth visit to Seabrook, my wife told me we were not leaving without buying a home here. So, we did– on that very trip. What began as a twenty-year plan to buy and rent out a vacation home until our children were college-bound and retirement was on the horizon changed quickly. We fell increasingly in love with Seabrook Island and increasingly tired of the eleven-hour road trip to get here (even worse, the eleven hours to get back home). So, the original long-term plan became short-term, and we permanently moved from Ohio to Seabrook Island. We have never looked back. I had been a Realtor in Cincinnati for a dozen years, so naturally, I started working at Seabrook Island Real Estate, where I have been a part of the team since our move. We purchased our home knowing that Club membership was required then, and we’ve been proud Club members since. Now, we have been Seabrookers for about eighteen years. We raised our children here, sending them to middle/high school in historic downtown Charleston, then off to Clemson University (Go Tigers!). We built a new home here, and we have enjoyed every moment of our time on Seabrook. I would be most pleased to assist if you have questions about making Seabrook Island part of your plans. It certainly worked for us!

As a Realtor, I prioritize making my clients happy and ensuring their needs are met, and their goals are exceeded. I listen to my client’s wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction, and I strive to create a fun and rewarding buying or selling process that is easy and stress-free. My clients can count on me any time of day when they have a question or concern. As a Charleston native and a seasoned real estate professional, I also recognize and value my clients’ trust in me, and I strive every day to exceed their expectations. I’m a high-touch Realtor known for extensive market knowledge and unmatched devotion to my clients! My overall success is based almost exclusively on referrals from my past clients. I earn their respect by working tirelessly on their behalf and by always offering them candid advice.

A Testimonial
Steve and I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Seabrook Island Real Estate team for making our home buying experience such a pleasure. Special thanks to our agent, John Halter, for his dedication to his clients. He combined the perfect balance of professionalism, honesty, diligence, a great sense of humor, and a “can do” attitude that made working with him such a great experience. Special thanks to Mary Ann and Ryan who also helped and encouraged us along the way. It took a village to get us there, and all of you were great.

Almost a year passed between our “this is it” moment to the date we closed on our home in Seabrook. John and the Seabrook Island Real Estate team were there for us all the way, never wavering in your commitment to make a fully accessible Seabrook Island lifestyle a reality for us. Together, we found a way to resolve our special challenges without sacrificing the understated elegance and charm that Seabrook Island homes are famous for. You are all Rock Stars and thanks again for everything!

Best,

Patricia and Steve

I left my hometown of Anderson, SC, at the age of 18 to move to the beach and attend the College of Charleston. Since then, I have lived in the Lowcountry for the past 20 years, where I have worked primarily in customer service and sales.

After spending ten years as an Assistant Golf Professional on Kiawah Island, I transitioned into an outside sales role with a national beverage distributor. Over the course of seven years, I had the opportunity to travel internationally and learn about some of the world’s oldest and most renowned wines and spirits.

In 2015, I became a licensed REALTOR® in South Carolina and have dedicated myself to providing exceptional customer service and negotiations for my clients. My focus areas are Johns and James Island, West Ashley, Downtown, and Mount Pleasant. It’s a blessing to be able to work in a place like Seabrook Island and share my passion for real estate sales and Lowcountry living with my clients. My top priority is to provide an unparalleled experience in the home buying and selling process for all my past, present, and future clients throughout the greater Charleston area.

Amanda’s passion for homes ignited at an early age, captivated by the diverse architectural styles and historic residences that adorned her picturesque Connecticut town. Her first visit to Charleston in 2003 left an indelible mark, as she was immediately enchanted by the city’s mystique and charm, along with its surrounding islands. This profound connection led her to make Charleston her permanent home and she has enjoyed every aspect of life in the lowcountry.

With a business degree from UNC-Asheville, Amanda brings over 15 years of managerial and customer service experience to the luxury real estate market. Her professional journey has instilled in her a genuine desire to help clients achieve their real estate aspirations, whether it’s acquiring a dream home or facilitating a seamless sale. Amanda’s consultative approach centers on truly understanding her clients’ needs and crafting a bespoke plan to accomplish their goals with confidence and ease, always prioritizing her client’s best interests above all else.

Known for her honesty, integrity, and dedication, Amanda builds lasting relationships with her clients, never taking for granted the trust placed in her during the buying or selling process. “My unwavering goal is to always exceed my clients’ expectations and deliver exemplary service, making the real estate transaction a luxurious and enjoyable experience.” The ultimate reward of her profession is the gift of transforming clients into dear friends, a sentiment she eagerly looks forward to expanding on Seabrook Island.

Amanda cherishes exploring the Lowcountry. In her spare time, you’ll find her kayaking through the marsh in search of dolphins and native birds, sampling new restaurants and breweries, or uncovering the hidden treasures of Seabrook Island and the Peninsula. Ever the adventurer, Amanda is always on the lookout for secret gardens and pathways, and she invites you to join her in discovering the enchanting wonders of this beautiful region.

Ingrid and her husband escaped to their “secret oasis” for 25 years for extended family holidays, vacations with their children, and often, long weekends with friends. One of her greatest blessings has been watching their three children grow up, developing a deep appreciation and respect for everything Seabrook encompasses. Ingrid’s immense love for the ocean and architecture began in early childhood when she spent every summer at “the shore” in Cape, NJ. Living on Mackinac Island, Michigan, and riding on snowmobiles with her father across Lake Huron breathed a sense of adventure into her. Ingrid spent her elementary years residing in Hillsdale, Michigan, and the following years in the upstates of South Carolina and Asheville, NC. Before her career at Seabrook Island Real Estate, Ingrid was a registered nurse for 31 years, with experience in administration and management. The skillset acquired throughout her nursing career has proven exceptionally valuable in numerous home renovations and real estate transactions. A resident of Seabrook Island and an active member of the Seabrook Island Club, Ingrid enjoys traveling, tennis, walks on the beach, meeting new neighbors through social functions at the club, and sharing time on the island with friends. Her favorite days are spent at the beach or exploring the island with her husband, Dwight, and their entire family, including Sheepadoodle, Bech. Whether you are looking to relocate to the Lowcountry full-time, purchase a vacation home, or sell your property, Ingrid’s skillset, combined with her extensive history and deep connection to Seabrook Island, will help guide you throughout your home buying or selling experience.
