A Testimonial
Steve and I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Seabrook Island Real Estate team for making our home buying experience such a pleasure. Special thanks to our agent, John Halter, for his dedication to his clients. He combined the perfect balance of professionalism, honesty, diligence, a great sense of humor, and a “can do” attitude that made working with him such a great experience. Special thanks to Mary Ann and Ryan who also helped and encouraged us along the way. It took a village to get us there, and all of you were great.
Almost a year passed between our “this is it” moment to the date we closed on our home in Seabrook. John and the Seabrook Island Real Estate team were there for us all the way, never wavering in your commitment to make a fully accessible Seabrook Island lifestyle a reality for us. Together, we found a way to resolve our special challenges without sacrificing the understated elegance and charm that Seabrook Island homes are famous for. You are all Rock Stars and thanks again for everything!
Best,
Patricia and Steve
I left my hometown of Anderson, SC, at the age of 18 to move to the beach and attend the College of Charleston. Since then, I have lived in the Lowcountry for the past 20 years, where I have worked primarily in customer service and sales.
After spending ten years as an Assistant Golf Professional on Kiawah Island, I transitioned into an outside sales role with a national beverage distributor. Over the course of seven years, I had the opportunity to travel internationally and learn about some of the world’s oldest and most renowned wines and spirits.
In 2015, I became a licensed REALTOR® in South Carolina and have dedicated myself to providing exceptional customer service and negotiations for my clients. My focus areas are Johns and James Island, West Ashley, Downtown, and Mount Pleasant. It’s a blessing to be able to work in a place like Seabrook Island and share my passion for real estate sales and Lowcountry living with my clients. My top priority is to provide an unparalleled experience in the home buying and selling process for all my past, present, and future clients throughout the greater Charleston area.
Amanda’s passion for homes ignited at an early age, captivated by the diverse architectural styles and historic residences that adorned her picturesque Connecticut town. Her first visit to Charleston in 2003 left an indelible mark, as she was immediately enchanted by the city’s mystique and charm, along with its surrounding islands. This profound connection led her to make Charleston her permanent home and she has enjoyed every aspect of life in the lowcountry.
With a business degree from UNC-Asheville, Amanda brings over 15 years of managerial and customer service experience to the luxury real estate market. Her professional journey has instilled in her a genuine desire to help clients achieve their real estate aspirations, whether it’s acquiring a dream home or facilitating a seamless sale. Amanda’s consultative approach centers on truly understanding her clients’ needs and crafting a bespoke plan to accomplish their goals with confidence and ease, always prioritizing her client’s best interests above all else.

Amanda cherishes exploring the Lowcountry. In her spare time, you’ll find her kayaking through the marsh in search of dolphins and native birds, sampling new restaurants and breweries, or uncovering the hidden treasures of Seabrook Island and the Peninsula. Ever the adventurer, Amanda is always on the lookout for secret gardens and pathways, and she invites you to join her in discovering the enchanting wonders of this beautiful region.
After retiring from CHANEL in April of 2023, following a 30-year career in luxury sales and management, my husband and I made the move to Seabrook Island. His parents have called Seabrook home for 25 years, and we wanted to be closer to them while embracing the coastal lifestyle. Real estate has always been a passion of mine, and I knew that one day I would take the leap to become an agent.
Living on Seabrook Island has been an absolute gift. The breathtaking landscape, abundant wildlife, and incredible sense of community have made us feel so welcome. I’m thrilled to share everything that makes Seabrook so special with my clients, offering them insight from firsthand experience. Seabrook is more than just a beach destination—it’s a place that fosters a true sense of belonging. Life here feels like a permanent vacation, with endless opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Lowcountry.
For those visiting or considering making Seabrook their home, I always recommend experiencing three key highlights. First, the pristine beach is a marvel no matter the time of day. The natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere make it one of Seabrook’s most treasured spots. Second, an afternoon at the Pelican’s Nest is a must—offering a delicious meal with unparalleled oceanfront views. And finally, for those looking to stay active, the Lakehouse provides fantastic fitness amenities, from workouts to community events.
When helping clients find their perfect home on Seabrook, I encourage them to take in all that the island has to offer. From its natural beauty to its recreational opportunities, Seabrook is a truly special place. The combination of a stunning beach, the charm of the Lowcountry landscape, and a strong sense of community sets it apart from other coastal destinations.
Outside of work, I stay active and involved in the community. You’ll often find me playing tennis at the racquet club, spending time on our boat, collecting shells along the shore, or working out at the Lakehouse. My husband and I also adore our three English Bulldog rescues—Lily, Poppy, and Posey—who bring so much joy to our lives.
When it comes to dining, some of our favorite spots include The Pelican’s Nest at the Club, The Wild Olive, and SouthBound. As for favorite movies, *Out of Africa* holds a special place in my heart. And when the holidays come around, Christmas and the Fourth of July on Seabrook are two of my favorites—both filled with festive traditions and community celebrations.
Seabrook Island is more than just a place to live; it’s a way of life. I feel incredibly fortunate to call it home and to help others find their perfect place here as well.
