Oceanside Yoga for the Hebron Zion Emergency Food Pantry

It’s that time of year again when exercising outdoors at any time other than in the morning or evening is more like taking a trip to your local sauna. If you are passionate about hot yoga or steamy runs, then Charleston’s high temps are no problem, if not, Discover Seabrook has you covered. Seabrook Island’s Beach Club is hosting an 8 am morning oceanside yoga class at the Ocean Terrace on Saturday, June 29th, to benefit the Hebron Zion Emergency Food Pantry.

The Hebron Zion Presbyterian Church on Johns Island runs a 60-day emergency food pantry that offers food to families and individuals who have food emergencies. This is a weekly food pantry that attendees use for short periods of time. All $20 of your yoga class entry ticket will go towards supporting the Hebron Zion Emergency Food Pantry.

Natasha Stevens will be instructing this oceanside yoga class. This is going to be a relaxing practice, so people of all yoga levels are encouraged to attend! We do ask that everyone who will be joining us brings a yoga mat, a towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray.

After your relaxing and charitable practice, you are welcome to stay after class for complimentary mimosas and bloody Marys. Yoga, community engagement, and mimosas? You can’t beat that!

We hope to see many of you ready for yoga at 8 am this Saturday, June 29th! At the time of writing, the weather forecast for Seabrook Island is calling for rain on Saturday. Our backup location is the Atlantic Room.

The $20 fee can be paid in member charge, cash or check, but you need to have a reservation to attend. This is an all island event and everyone is encouraged to bring a friend!
