Among Seabrook Island’s 2,600 residential properties, there are many charming “communities within the community.” These regime-managed communities include three building styles. Villas: units are located on more than one floor, like a condominium. Cottages: similar “stand-alone” structures not sharing any common walls, essentially smaller type homes, which provide the privacy of a detached home with the convenience of managed care. Townhomes: multi-floor units, usually two or three floors, which share a common wall on one or both sides. Homes refer to single family residences not within a separate regime-managed community.
