Meet Lawrence

As a Seabrook Island Realtor with a deep personal connection to the community, I bring both professional expertise and genuine passion to my work. I’ve been working in the real estate industry for the past two years, but my foundation was laid long before that—thanks to my father, who’s been in the business for decades. From a young age, I was tagging along to closings at attorneys’ offices and site meetings with contractors. Those early experiences gave me a wealth of knowledge, and I’m incredibly grateful for the head start.

My decision to become a Realtor on Seabrook Island was inspired by my family’s long-standing bond with this place. Living here is nothing short of incredible. If I had to choose what I love most, it would be the natural beauty—the winding creeks, rivers, and ocean views framed by Spartina grass. It’s a serene, picturesque landscape unlike anywhere else.

One of the things that sets Seabrook apart from other island communities is its privacy and security. Access is limited to property owners and their guests, creating a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere along the coast.

If you’re visiting, I always recommend seeing the island by water—charter a boat from Bohicket Marina and explore the endless creeks and rivers. And when it comes to dining, you can’t beat lunch at Pelican’s Nest, right on the ocean. It’s the only true seaside restaurant in the Charleston area. For dinner, Hege’s is a favorite of mine, while Fischer’s Pub & Grill is great for lunch, and The Station is the perfect spot for breakfast.

My top recommendation for prospective buyers? Consider purchasing a vacant lot and building your dream home. There’s something incredibly rewarding about designing a space that’s entirely your own.

Outside of real estate, I’m a history buff—it’s what I studied at Clemson University—and I’m fascinated by Seabrook’s untold stories. Though there aren’t many books written about the island, the local lore and old tales let your imagination run wild. I’d love to see more people discover the rich history that makes this community so special.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my wife Audrey and our sons. Audrey is the founder of Opal Aesthetics, a medical spa, and we make the most of our weekends together. I enjoy fishing, golfing, and spending time at our family farm in Manning, South Carolina. We take pride in being good stewards of the land and love seeing the wildlife thrive.

A few personal favorites:

Favorite movie: Forrest Gump—hands down.

Favorite holiday: Christmas. It brings people together like nothing else and is celebrated worldwide with joy and warmth.

Favorite hidden gem on Seabrook: Nancy Island. It faces west, offering sunset views across Edisto and the North Edisto River. The views there are the best of the best.

Whether you’re a longtime local or just discovering Seabrook Island, I’d love to help you find your place here—and share the connection my family and I have built over the years.
