Sandy Beasley is originally from Sparkill, NY and has worked in the real estate industry since 2004.  Sandy’s favorite part about Seabrook Island is the wildlife, the beach, and the people. She was inspired to become a Realtor on Seabrook Island because she loves working where she lives, and she believes a bike ride to work is always fantastic. Helping and sharing the island with others feels important to her. She wishes more people knew that living on Seabrook actually feels like a little secret, and that the atmosphere, laid-back lifestyle, and people are what she loves the most. Her top must-visit recommendations on Seabrook Island are Camp Saint Christopher, the nature trails, the beaches, and the sloughs—locations that most people don’t know about. When giving advice to someone looking to buy a home on Seabrook Island, Sandy says, “Join the club and plan to stay,” and jokingly adds that if someone is still commuting into town for work, they should be prepared to retire. She believes what sets Seabrook apart from other coastal communities is that “you’ll have to wait for several deer, a bobcat, and probably a turtle to cross in the street before you can continue.” A fun fact about Sandy is that she will pick up and pack a bag in two seconds if someone says “vacation” or “road trip.” Her favorite restaurants include Halls Chophouse in Charleston, La Tela at Freshfields, and Bohicket Lounge at the Club, where she says the pecan-crusted flounder is the best she’s ever tasted. Her favorite movie is Elf because her kids love it, and her favorite holiday is Christmas time because she loves the lights, the parties, the music, the holiday cheer with family and friends, and the generosity of the community. When she’s not working, Sandy spends her free time at the beach, the pool, bike riding, reading, playing tennis, and attending fitness classes at the Lake House.
