The SIPOA Lake House community center features a state-of-the-art fitness and training facility, indoor and outdoor pools, in addition to an inviting library, comfortable meeting rooms, a playground, basketball court and more.

The Lake House

The SIPOA Lake House is a fitness and wellness facility providing Seabrook Island property owners and their guests with everything they need to stay happy and healthy with a variety of exercise classes, equipment, swimming and social groups in a 27,500 sq. ft. facility.

The fitness space includes a cardio area with a variety of options including treadmills, adaptive motion trainers, recumbent bikes, spinning bikes and rowing machines. There is also a weight training area which includes free weights, cable machines and weight machines to target every major muscle group in the body. The Lake House also has a wide variety of group fitness classes (including pilates, aerobics and yoga), as well as personal trainers to assist you in any fitness goal you may have, plus aqua aerobics for those seeking a low impact workout.

Lake House Pools

The Lake House boasts a 5-lane, 25-yard indoor fitness pool that is temperature regulated year-round. There is also a zero entry outdoor activity pool that provides a water-play area for children, five swimming lanes and plenty of deck space to relax and enjoy the sun.

Fitness Classes

Zumba

A dance fitness class that features exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats. First 30 minutes are low intensity with simple choreography, geared towards anyone who wants a great, low impact cardio workout.

Core Fusion

Strengthen your abdominals, mid/lower back, and increase functional flexibility through a fusion of Pilates, yoga, & core strength exercises.

Cardio Conditioning

This class combines cardio intervals with strength training and core conditioning. Choose high or low impact, whichever level is right for you. Get ready for a fat burning hour of fun

Pilates

A fun cardio workout wearing a weighted belt. Work your entire body without any pressure to your joints. This class is ideal for people with knee, hip or lower back problems.

Yoga

This is a great way to learn the yoga positions, increase flexibility, promote spinal health and reduce stress. This class combines gen-tle movement with the breath followed by a deep relaxation.

Water Aerobics

A fun cardio workout with upper body strengthening and stretching. Relieve stress while splashing your way to better health.

Social Groups & Clubs

In addition to its fitness offerings, the Lake House is home to a wide variety of social and special interest groups, including art and photography groups, bridge groups, book clubs and more.
